Why Survey Signal

A specific job.
A useful result.

A response spreadsheet can mix unanswered questions, multiple-choice selections and free-text comments. Reading it row by row makes recurring themes difficult to see, while an unlabeled percentage can hide who actually answered. A descriptive summary organizes the feedback and keeps the limits of that particular sample visible.

Built for small businesses collecting customer feedback. Turn customer feedback into a clear next-step discussion.

Starting point

Illustrative scenario: 20 fictional records contain 14 “Yes” answers, four “No” answers and two blanks for a booking question. Reporting a percentage without a denominator could hide the unanswered responses from the discussion.

Example delivery

Illustrative output: the report states that 14 of 18 people who answered said “Yes,” or 77.8%, and separately records two missing responses out of 20 submissions. A chart uses the same counts. The notes explain that this example does not establish population satisfaction or the cause of any response.

Simple to start

Supply the context.
Review the work.

Supply an anonymized CSV with up to 200 responses and ten questions. Include question wording, missing-value codes, collection dates and how respondents were recruited.

Response counts, percentages and themes are prepared with explicit denominators. Missing answers and multiple-choice rules are handled separately, and potentially identifying comments are redacted or paraphrased.

Receive a PDF report with checked charts, a theme summary and data-quality notes. Review what the submitted responses support before deciding which follow-up questions to pursue.
